I didn't know what I was getting into when I first walked into Fire shaper but after my first class I walked out knowing this was what my body & mind was missing. The incredible instructors that guide you through the class are so helpful & knowledgeable making you feel so comfortable throughout your workout. I used it as a way to lose weight and not only have I lost the weight but have controlled my weight I have now learned how too enjoy the little things in life that in the past were meaningless are significantly meaningful to me. I initially tried a few other studios in Englewood and Cresskill, utilizing their week-long and month-long first-time specials, in my quest to find a studio to call home. I cannot say enough great things about Fireshaper Tenafly and the teachers I have come to love: Thara, Rita, and Maria are by far the best! Their clear instructions, adjustments, inspirational words and encouragement make each class special. They know how to push you to your personal best each and every time. I walk out grateful not only for the workout, but for the nourishment of the spirit. Totally worth trying this place out if you're looking to get in to hot yoga! Try a Blaze class with Thara!!

This is my home away from home. I've practiced Bikram Yoga for a number of years in NYC, it was great to find a place that offered something similar and great. They offer 4 different types of hot yoga classes. Teachers are caring, Place is clean and cozy. Grateful for places like these.

What an uplifting experience! Feel rejuvenated after each class. Have to admit my favorites are Burn and Restorative Yoga! Becoming addicted to early AM classes,the perfect beginning to each day.

I have been practicing hot yoga for five years. The studio that I used to go to in Westwood closed down and I was very worried that I wouldn't find a new home. From the moment I walked into Fireshaper in Tenafly, fly I knew I had hit the jackpot. The studio is immaculate! It has a spa like feel and atmosphere. Every time I walk through the door, I am greeted by very kind and personable staff. The classes are challenging, but the instructors walk around and make slight adjustments to help all of the students in the room. I have never been to a yoga studio where instructors remember students' names and complement their hard work throughout the class. It is very motivating. I am absolutely going to become a yogi who practices at this wonderful studio.

Love this place, the classes are amazing! The class offerings are vast, and they have something for everybody. BURN Class with Diane is my favorite, truly amazing, no other work out like it. HUGE Plus is the teachers go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, call you by name, and adjust poses, I really appreciate this. The studio is so clean and ambiance is great. I love it.

Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't accept classes you purchased at the other locations and vice versa, this is the only location that this is the case.

I was new to hot yoga and the world of yoga in general when I signed up for my first class here. The staff is super friendly and accommodating and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The studio itself is extremely clean and new. A+!

Hot yoga destination in Tenafly! In just a few short months, this studio has a committed following of people who are both new to yoga and highly experienced. It's Thara, the owner, and the talented teachers she's attracted, that's caused the buzz. The studio is aesthetically beautiful and zen like. That same attention to detail is beautifully woven into the classes and on business matters. As a newcomer to yoga, it's now an every day part of my life. It's a must try.

Thara is amazing and I'm enjoying the mix of yoga, strength and cardio.

Awesome new hot yoga studio in Tenafly! Thara, the owner, has created a warm and welcoming studio. The space is beautiful and immaculate, the teachers are fabulous, and the classes offered are great. There are many different classes to choose from, depending on what type of workout you're looking to get, and they lend themselves perfectly to both the beginner yogi and the very experienced. If you're interested in trying hot yoga for the first time, this is the perfect place to do it.

I would definitely recommend this studio. The facility absolutely beautiful. The staff wonderful and great atmosphere.

Having little yoga experience, I was a bit intimidated initially- but it's hard to feel anything but welcomed when you step foot into Thara's studio. From the décor, to the teachers, I am absolutely in love with everything about this studio! They offer a great variety of warm and hot (LOVE) yoga, and even workshops. Teachers are very attentive and truly love their practices, and yogis; which is important for a positive experience. If you're looking for something beyond your average yoga studio, your search ends here!!

From the moment you step foot into Fire Shaper Tenafly you feel the "zen". Thara, the studio's owner, has created a beautiful, welcoming environment for all. From experienced yogis to those who have never taken a yoga class before, any apprehension is left at the door and you finish each class energized and excited to come back for more.

The space is stunning to practice in...clean, spacious, state of the art hot and not hot rooms, changing areas, fantastic showers and bathrooms, juice bar, retail and FREE parking!! Thara Natalie has created a well curated space. Super excited to practice and teach here!

I had my first class, Blaze and it was awesome. It was 90 minutes and I enjoyed everything from the structure, atmosphere, facility and instructor! I recommend to all my yogis to check out for yourself. You will be satified to become a regular:)

My first time doing hot yoga and what a fabulous experience,The owner and teacher Thara makes you feel so relaxed but at the same time giving you a full mind and body work out.The studio is so clean and welcoming will be returning for sure.

I found the studio so welcoming. The atmosphere and people make you feel so good. The instructors make you feel that they care about your level of experience.
